The field of Grassot




 was the first field of play of the club. It was situated near the Sagrada Familia. The the field lines marked with lime ANGEL RODRIGUEZ the Chairperson himself.

1900 November 18. According to chronicles it seems that the first match of the recently founded Spanish Society of Football in this field was against Català. There are no data of the result. In this age friendly matches were played; did not exist any competition, there were few teams and many times matches with some of the teams numerically inferior were held because of lack of personnel. December 9 1900. this time against another friendly match celebrated Apleck Schools, although the Sdad.Española presents its second team. Apleck overcome the the 0-2.


It was the first pitch of the club. It was located right next to the Sagrada Familia as you can see in the picture.
