OF THE SENIA
IN MONTSIA (TARAGONA.)
WHO OCUPIED AFTER
When Franco's troops arrived in Sénia in April 1938, the airfield was occupied by
(the Condor Legion) and served as a base for attacking the southern front of Valencia first, for the battle of the Ebro afterwards and finally for the Occupation of Catalonia.

When in April of the year 1938 the Francoist troops arrived at the Sénia, the airfield was occupied by (the Condor Legion). This book explains what happened, but I only put this page so that it
see these pictures, the one above are the planes flying over the sky of La Sènia, in the middle you can see the town's main square, transformed into a field health clinic.

The field of aviation of the Sénia. Built in 1937, it is a historical and patrimonial space partially conserved and linked to the recent memory of the population with numerous oral, documentary and graphic references. The airfield was formed by an extension of 90 hectares of land and an irregular perimeter reminiscent of a five-pointed star.
